PSG PRODUCTION MANAGER - Second Shift

|Description:||Sports Endeavors, Inc. is seeking an energized and motivated MANAGER who will oversee the production areas of our Professional Services Group. Our PSG area is primarily focused on producing quality customized products for our numerous consumer groups. Our current areas of specialty are Embroidery, Screen Printing, Heat Press, and Direct-to-Garment (DTG) operations. |
The Manager will provide leadership support to the second shift teams with specific responsibilities that include, but not limited to the following:
•Prepare and monitor a production plan focused on maximizing staff and equipment across various areas of customization: Screen Printing, Embroidery, Heat Press and Direct-to-Garment (DTG) operations.
•Held responsible for ensuring that productivity goals are achieved and setting direction for the team to accomplish these goals.
•Work closely with team member to monitor qualitative and quantitative results across all areas of operation.
•Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards, ensuring all team members are properly trained to product quality production.
•Ensure equipment is fully operational; assists with evaluating new equipment and new techniques.
•Address employee performance issues on a daily basis by providing constructive feedback.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on proper use of equipment and resources.
•Provide periodic reviews, summaries and other information regarding production planning, results, etc…
•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing/production management/supervisory work experience.
•Proven experience in a volume oriented environment; experience with Screening, Heat Press, Embroidery and/or DTG an asset.
•Work history with supervision responsibilities in a production environment.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
•Proven effective interpersonal skills, ability for analytical thinking and reasoning.
•Excellent organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively.
•Solid track record of coaching and supervisory experience with initiative and strong follow-up skills displayed.
•Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position. Bilingual skills a plus.
