Our purchasing department is looking for a full time merchandising assistant. The ideal candidate will assist in managing special pricing lists, updating orders, catalog set up and drop-ship group general support.
•Build parts and enter purchase orders using PCS system.
«Aquire all info needed to create new parts.
«Maintain the building parts process for new items.
•Manage all aspects of a products data
•Manage new vendor set up process for all systems.
•Mark items as discontinued or deactivated.
•Confirm availability and place fill in orders.
•Provide backup assistance to others in the department when needed.
•Must know how to set up and use Excel spreadsheets.
•SAP and VendorNet experience is a plus.
•Ability to learn new systems quickly.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
•Ability to multi task and meet preset deadlines.
•Knowledge of products used in soccer, lacrosse and rugby is a plus including item knowledge by brand.
•Must have good attendance record and be able to work with minimal supervision.
