| Duties: | The Online Properties Social Media Content Manager will participate in the creation, production, and maintenance of two high-profile e-commerce Internet sites. As an integral member of the Online Properties Department, their responsibilities will be quite varied; a flexible, positive attitude will be essential. Multi-tasking and the ability to handle a wide variety of assignments and deadlines will be vital. Social networks, communities, blogging, news/editorial, games, widgets, webcasting and customer engagement will be among the areas of priority for the Manager. Other responsibilities include:
-Develop content plans and strategies for content and social media for soccer and lacrosse.
-Research and recommend emerging social media initiatives
-Develop and execute aggressive friend/follower growth strategy
-Solicit, manage and edit User Generated Content.
-Create and enhance content to strengthen natural search listings and brand authenticity.
-Recruit and manage freelance writers and contributors for required site and partner content.
-Discover and evaluate news feeds or sources
-Demonstrate enthusiastic usage of social networking websites, forums and or blogs by participation
-Participate and respond to friend/follower questions and comments, or delegate appropriately
-Support and facilitate partner initiatives as well as provide guidance on content monetization efforts.
-Create and coordinate site content as well as edit and revise existing content based on search keywords.

| Qualifications: | The Online Properties Social Media Content Manager should be an expert in emerging social networking trends. The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Experience with deadline-driven production.
-Solid experience with Internet navigation and terminology as well as standard Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows procedures and practices.
-HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience will be an asset.
-Experience with design and maintenance of e-commerce sites a strong plus.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Marketing, Business or Communications Degree preferred
-Be a passionate fan of soccer and lacrosse.
-Must reside in the area or be willing to relocate at own expense.
