SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER

Sports Endeavors, Inc. (SEI) is seeking an energized and motivated Senior Production Manager who will oversee the production areas within our three-shift Professional Services Group (PSG).

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

■Organize, develop, and lead a fully functional and competent team that contributes to the achievement of the distribution center’s production areas within the Professional Services Group (PSG)

■Ensure each function operates to maximum efficiency while meeting volume, service, and cost requirements.

■Develop productivity standards and goals, set expectations, monitor results and provide feedback in a constructive manner.

■Coach and develop supervisors, leads, trainers and team members to ensure maximum efficiency in a positive employee relations environment

■ Accountable for product flow, productivity, accuracy, quality, and safety.

■Assist in preparing annual budgets and plans, analyze results and take action when necessary.

■Interact and communicate with peers to ensure a seamless effort towards achieving desired goals.

■Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop and execute plans to realize said improvements

■Minimum of four-year college degree

■Minimum of 7 years management experience in a manufacturing environment

■Knowledge of Lean /Six Sigma principles with demonstrated process improvement background

■Experience with process documentation and quality systems

■Knowledge of garment decorating processes a plus but not essential

■Proficient with computer applications. Knowledge of SAP beneficial

■Strong written and verbal communication skills

■Strong analytical skills with proven problem solving ability

■Proven track record of providing leadership and motivation to large group of employees
