BILINGUAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Description:

Sports Endeavors, the premier soccer, lacrosse and rugby retailer in North America is currently searching for a Graphic Designer. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and product management for the SEI private label product. The ideal candidate plays well with others, has an interest in sports, energetic and self reliant.

Duties:
    •Efficient execution of Art Directors’ design concepts and layouts, as applicable.
    • Developing designs and layouts, for print and web as applicable.
    •Make corrections and adjustments to graphic elements and layouts per Art Director, Creative Director or internal client.
    •Co-manage catalog sections and special projects as assigned by Art Director or Creative Director.
    •Prepare print jobs for production.
    •Help insure all department deadlines are met.

Secondary responsibilities:

    •Learn assigned product categories.
    •Assist Art Director as needed.
    •Assist Imaging Department with silos as needed.
    •Participate/Direct photo and video shoots.
    •Cross-train on other creative department position skills.
    •Contribute to other company objectives as required.
Qualifications:
    • Macintosh literacy required
    • 2+ years experience in Graphic Design for both print and web applications required.
    • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and HTML required.
    • Strong understanding of:
    - Production andPrepress
    - 4- color printing
    -Web Publishing

    •Fluent in Spanish and English.
    •Attention to detail and quality orientation.
    •Strong typographic and conceptual skills.
    •Strong design and page layout skills.
    •Must have professional attitude, be a team player and self-starter.
    •Time management skills, with ability to prioritize daily workload.
    •Ability to complete tasks with reduced supervision.
    •Willingness to learn and to recognize and adapt to changing conditions, including redefining this position, as appropriate.

Career Path:

• Eligibility for promotion to Senior Designer depending upon experience and performance.
